So apparently, this super photogenic, and fun-loving family has never had professional photos before. Ever! Though I don’t exactly believe them (look at how natural these kiddos’ smiles are), I guess I will take their word for it 😉

With all families, as we prepare for our session, I like to give them an idea of how our session will go. The most important item I relay, is that we want everyone to be relaxed. And I mean everyone. If mom and dad are stressed, the kiddos will pick up on that. I set a time frame for our session, but sometimes we are done sooner, sometimes we run a bit over. Either way, we want to take our time to get some great shots. We will play games at our session, I will tell some jokes and I will ask some silly questions– all done to get everyone relaxed and having fun!
