Newborn session grandparents

Oh- this was a fun one! I was asked to take photos of their littlest arrival and when I arrived, I was greeting by the mom’s parents. They had flown across the country and had arrived just hours after the baby was born.
Though we obviously focused quite a bit on little Saige and her parents, it was so much fun to spend a little time with the grandparents snuggling and loving on their new grandchild.

Mom and dad live in a very adorable home that they recently re-did before their little baby was born. It was filled with great character and modern touches. My favorite part of the home was their sun room towards the back of the home. It was a perfectly wonderful spot for photographing little Saige with her grandparents.

Little Saige had the most darling nursery. The framed animal prints were my favorite!

Mom asked if I have any sort of headbands. Though I like for the photographs to remain fairly free of props, this delicate little headband is just precious.

Right before the below photo was taken, their dog Winston had jumped right up onto the chair. Mom told me he typically stays out of the baby’s room and had never done this before. Clearly, he wanted to be included in the photo 😉
