Respect and privacy with photography
Given that fact that cell photos are ubiquitous and the cameras on the phones are pretty great, I’m guessing you have a lot of photos of your little one(s). As a mom of two little ones, I seem to struggle between wanting to share their photos, funny stories, and accomplishments and just keeping things private within our family. I love seeing other friends’ photos of their kids and appreciate the realness that comes with some other parents’ posts. However, as they get older, we are more cognizant of respect and privacy with photography. We have been asking them permission before posting a photo. I found this short video to be really eye-opening (um, hello facial recognition!).
Curious what is the best way to showcase your child’s photos while maintaining respect and privacy with photography?
- Printing those images and hang them up!
- Make a yearly album for your kids and guests to glance through. I make one annually for my family and love using Blurb!
- Use the images for a calendar that is displayed prominently in your home or office.
- Every quarter, print your favorites to display in a beautiful display box
