In-home newborn photography
I had to quickly pivot my business in 2020 when Covid hit. Of course, safety was my top concern so I immediately moved all my newborn photography sessions outside and discontinued in-home newborn photography. I was thrilled with the results! We are very fortunate to have wonderful weather in Denver that (mostly) cooperated. An outdoor newborn session allowed families to still have newborn photography during the first few weeks, but also allowed all of us to feel safe given the times.
I will absolutely continue to offer outdoor newborn photography. However, I’m thrilled to be getting back to in-home newborn photography (assuming our numbers remain low)!
I am now fully vaccinated and will continue to implement safety protocols such as wearing the mask in the home and monitoring my health prior to the session. There are so many benefits to having an in-home newborn photography session:
- The convenience can’t be beat
- We can easily incorporate any furry friends you may have
- I love photographing the nursery
- Mom and baby can easily take breaks when needed
Many clients choose to get on my books when they are in their second trimester. This allows us plenty of time to discuss the details and plan a maternity session.
As always, I will be taken only a few newborn photography clients per month so if you are expecting and interested in newborn photography, reach out as soon as possible.
