Central Park newborn 

This recent Central Park newborn photography session was held on a cold winter day. Inside the family’s home, it could not be cozier though. I so enjoyed photographing this sweet Central Park newborn who happens to be the first boy in the family. 
Sweet Ben was quiet sleepy which made photographing him pretty easy. When I photograph newborns, I always take the lead of the little one and never push certain poses, since the newborn’s natural poses are picture perfect. 

I can’t believe we were able to get this sweet image of a little smile from Newborn Ben. 

It seemed that Ben was sound asleep then saddening, he was wide awake. And look at his gorgeous bright eyes!

Newborn Ben really liked being swaddled but I also wanted to make sure we captured all those sweet little toes.  His wrinkly little feet are too much! 

My favorite part of a newborn photography session is taking images of mom and dad with their littlest one. Parenting is such a wild ride and it’s wonderful to be able to have a few images of the quieter moments of parenting.  

I always deliver some images in black and white and I’m especially fond of these parent and child images in this classic method.
