Well, it’s here! Molly Garg Photography is turning 5! I’m pretty excited and really proud (did you know that 80% of new businesses fail within the first months?)
It’s been a long road for sure.  There have been many challenges, lessons learned, and obstacles to overcome. Countless late nights editing, updating my website, and replying to client emails. But I still love my job. I love spending time with little ones, with new parents and with families who haven’t seen each other in a while.

Many times, people will ask me how I got  my start. Did I take classes? Did I study photography in undergrad? Well, yes and no. When I was working on my MBA, I needed something to do that was a bit more on the creative side. I spent some time in photography classes. Shortly after, I was gifted my first DSLR camera. In 2009, I really fell in love with photography. We had moved to a new town and I had my first born all within a few weeks of each other.  I started picking up my camera more and more. With my son as my model, I practiced and practiced and practiced some more. I was in love.

I am thrilled with my progress over the years and am still taking steps to learn along the way.

I’m thankful for all of you for your support over the years. Without you, MGP wouldn’t exist.
I’m excited for what the future holds. I will continue to grown and learn as a photographer. I hope you’ll join me!
