I feel really lucky to live in a city with so many wonderful settings for photography. Denver’s City Park is one of my favorites in which to hold a Denver City Park family photo session.

It is convenient to most of my clients and offers so much variety in the setting. The park is host to a variety of unique area to get great shots! There is a lake in the center, but also a lot of interesting areas (stone walls, ivy-covered fences, and great little sculptures around the park).

Another great aspect of City Park? It is host to the wonderful Denver Zoo and always entertaining Denver Museum of Nature and Science. Two great options for a family activity after our session.

Since this client wanted a true “Denver fall” backdrop, we headed to a little area in the park that has the most gorgeous foliage in the fall.
